Flying my new Twin Star II with stock speed 400 size motors and Multiplex ESC. Batteries are 8 cell 1400 mAh NiMH packs which each provide about 10 minutes of flight (only around 5 minutes when it's 15 degrees outside). Controlled with a Hitec Prism 7X transmitter with adjustable flaperons/spoilerons enabled, but they weren't implemented in any of the filmed flights due to the unplanned landings. The battery in use during this video wasn't fully charged, so the plane was lacking power during most of the flights.

Hi,
Good vid. I've been flying models most of my life, & had many twinstars. Was it windy? - -> I find the only way to fly smoothly, is to fly safely. I find it's best to fly, as if it was a real aircraft. I always try & fly foamies, like power models. Never come towards yourself, like u did, at the end of the vid. it's even more important with brushless motors. - You'll feel a lot better if u try & get it right. -> Still a good vid, I enjoyed watching.

I think its not underpowered, but maybe, its a lot better with brushless, Ive ordered them today from hobbyking, than I will see and tell the result.
If you have brushed, that you have to have only 1 ESC and 1 battery.

I dont understand do you have to have 2 ESC, 2 batterys , or just 1 and both engines running on 1 battery

Do you consider this plane to be underpowered with stock setup?
How windy have you been able to fly this plane?
Thanks!!!
