New project. Taking an average Mexican guy who doesn't know how to cook in the least bit (that would be me) and teaching you threw my clumbsy mistakes how to prepare simple snacks and side dishes. First assignmet: FRIJOLES REFRITOS / REFRIED BEANS

Smh, really, canned beans? You know mexicans don't eat that. Haha here's a easy and better way.
1.Get the small bag of dry pinto beans, remove rocks and ugly looking ones, then rinse with water.
2. Boil in a large pot of water on high for 2-3 hours. *Optional* I like to add bacon while cooking
2. OR slow cook in a crock pot for 8-10 hours (I usually do this overnight, or before I leave in the morning)
3. Remove and place beans in a pan with oil ( enough to coat the bottom) *OR you could cook ba
