I asked around,An found a lot of ppl use Soap on their birds, or Greens,Idk but ppl do it

I see some folks actually use soap to clean their food. This isn't healthy because some of that soap absorb into the food. Many folks I know clean their meat w/ water mixed with either lemon juice or vinegar. To clean your veggies and fruits water mixed with lemon, and 1 tspn of baking soda. This is a chemically free healthy wash.

First of all, she is adorably CUTE!! I would so love to hang with her, she seems so down to earth. I absolutely love her!! And she's funny as hell! Secondly, YUCK! Soap on a bird? Including she put very little seasoning on it, N the butter should have been spread throughout the bird. 85% of the bird wasn't seasoned. That turkey must have tasted mostly of lemon scented Palmolive LMAO! Hey, it sure was a lemony clean tasted bird lol. Shanice, U can clean it w/water and lemon juice or vinegar.

Shanice that was the turkey butt, which is very good and loaded with meat. All you needed to do was pull out those white things and continue cleaning.

@kmgredd81 That white device is to adjust the water for different use such as to make alkaline water etc!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMGosh, why is this the first time I'm seeing this?! My initial thought was "No, Shanice; NOT SOAP"! You are the ONLY person I have ever seen soap up a bird before cooking it. You literally gave the turkey a bath... I'm like in shock right now 8-0 and it's funny at the same time LOL. I understand why you took that step, but I don't know if I'll grab the Palmolive, Dawn, or any other brand of dish soap anytime soon. I'll just make a brine, rinse it really well and then again. Looks good, though!

Shanice I do the same thing, I also wash my fresh greens in dish liquid. Afterwards my food is really clean.
