Please be careful grooming your cat with scissors. A cat's skin is very thin and tears easily. I found out the hard way. I was clipping away patches of matted hair, something I had done for years, when I nicked my cat's skin. Within a second the tiny nick opened into an eight inch tear in his skin. I was terrified and took him to vet immediately. My kitty is okay. This video and others on youtube neglect to warn you of this. Be careful grooming your cat with either scissors or clippers.
