Let the journey begin. I get rather wordy in this one, since there's a whole lot to explain here at the beginning. But I imagine it will pick up as we move along.

For some comic relief, check out Youtube's brand new "voice recognition" caption thing.

I recommend watching these videos on either 480p or 720p if you can; the audio quality is much nicer than 360p. And I have since fixed a mic issue, so starting in Part 7, I no longer sound like I'm on the radio.

  • Dear Shady, Thank you for not selling out with ads.

    ~Your new Fan, Feh.

  • @feh2 Ads are appearing on a few of the videos now unfortunately. It's because YouTube recognized a couple copyrighted bits from the Exile soundtrack; I'm not making anything off them and can't do anything about them either.

  • best myst 3 walkthrough ever...

  • @Sailor11Sedna Can you get these books at the library?

  • good voice over, very engaging, thanks.

  • 4:40, We never went through Riven, we weren't their with you, what the "F" are you talking about?

  • If I had to guess, from the way that Riven ended The Stranger grabbed the book that Catherine and Atrius used to get away since it went into the Star Rift. Either he just decided to visit or somehow Atrius sent him notice to come. Still, I think he went to where you start this game through that book.

  • YEESHA!

And thus, one of my favorite characters in the Myst series is introduced to us. She's one of the reasons why Myst IV is my favorite out of the entire series ^^

  • @mickeymouse14 Riven

  • @Mrgahoolefan They're called "The Book of Atrus" (Atrus's backstory), "The Book of Ti'ana" (the fall of D'ni), and "The Book of D'ni" (a brief glimpse at how D'ni could have gone, but mostly a prequel to the Exile game). You can also get the Myst Reader, which has all three of these in a single paperback volume. I warn you, though, there's a couple gaffes, and since they're kinda by the people who made Myst, they start all dull and sciencey before getting to the juicy stuff.

  • Where do you find these Myst novels? What are their titles?
