  • This is a truly legendary performance.

The mangled black and white quality only adds to the atmosphere!

  • @jodi183 I was at that gig in Palo Alto.Met Jaz's cousin while hangin around the sound desk and she took me back to meet the band after..including Jaz! Funny thing was I was at the very first show of this tour in Dublin,Ireland 18 months earlier and Youth kept asking me how it compared.I was so close to leaving all behind to join the tour bus..

  • Killing Joke live... Excellent....but just one question.... Why did Jaz Coleman stop playing that old Oberheim Keyboard? He used to hurl it about and make it drone like a real horrific, screechy Siren!

  • G'waan Jaz!!

  • @jodi183 i must have been in coma...

  • @jodi183 I must have been in coma.... i was'nt aware of that. And the favourite bassplayer in the world...take the riff on Wardance... Wowsers! ;))

  • @jodi183 ...i must have been in coma... i wasnt aware of that. But thats just supercool! He's a demon bassplayer, take the bass-riff on wardance... Wow!

  • @punkeruit1965 - maybe Jaz was hospitable to those he knew but, I got to open for them years ago and he had a tent constructed out of cloth tapestries backstage which he confined himself to the entire time after the show. I got the impression he was very private and not into partying. The rest of the band were very social and super cool.

  • @Trgr66 Where were you in '94? Youth toured w/ KJ on that Pandemonium tour. I got to meet all of them but Jaz. My old band opened for them in Palo Alto, CA late Oct 94. Rad show I'll never forget, I still have the set times sheet for the bands which was posted backstage.

  • Perfect.....
