Sojourner's Jim Wallis and other religious leaders held a press conference across the street from the Faith and Freedom Conference to denounce the House GOP budget for targeting poor people, saying it was more in line with the teaching of Ayn Rand than the teaching of Jesus Christ and the Bible.

You are so right there . I have never met a so called Christian who was . In fact most of them were nothing like Christ in any way .

Problem is that he's hardly a Christian, biblically speaking.

  • we need more main line churches to speak out againt the radical agenda of the right wing christians toward their fellow christians, toward the poor, toward those of other faiths, and colors, unfortunately there are not enough doing so. I commend those that do. It's time to show what separation of church and state are.

  • About time Christians started acting Christ like .

  • Jim Wallis and social justice = redistribution of wealth = everyone except the elite end up poor

  • What is it with Progressive and the horrid audio in their videos?

"St" Paul was the Roman agent that made "Christianity" into a slave Religion.

  • This quaint and antiquated idea of Christianity went out with Ronald Reagan and the rise of the Religious Right. Now, if you don't support the rich and their screwing of the poor, you're working for the anti-Christ.

Don't trust me? Tune to Fox News and Hate Radio right now and find out.

  • Yes, but don't forget St. Paul's injunction in Thessalonians that he who doesn't work should not eat.
