  • Love this song, the uke was great, but I like diddley bows and this is one of the best sounding slide diddley bow I ever heard. Can you tell me what kind of pickup and string you use on this one to make it sound so great. I know it take a good player above all else.

    Not sure if I've answered you yet so here it is I use a G string and a bottle cap pickup mounted in a metal Altoid candy box. I mount the box on a dowel in front so that it's on an angle and the box becomes the bridge with the string resting on it. I find the best sound is plucking with your finger. Happy diddling
