Arthur Clarke talks about space elevator
The world's best known writer of science fiction, Sir Arthur C Clarke was the first to propose satellite communications in 1945. One of his short stories inspired the World Wide Web, while another was later expanded to make the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, which he co-wrote with director Stanley Kubrick.
God bless this man. Wherever you are Mr.Clarke I hope you're having a good time! You live on in our memories.

Amazing that a smear campaign against Clarke continues by the uneducated: the facts are that Clarke was accused of peadophillia just before he was due to receive a knighthood. Clarke denied the accusations, the police investigated and it was discovered that the accusations were false. End of story.

@curvygirl1123 You heard wrong.
His idea in 1941 was the navigation satellites, which also make this YouTube chat possible.

@curvygirl1123 Where'd you hear all that? Seriously, I've never heard any of that. And besides, freemasonry is sweet! I've met a few freemasons and it sounds pretty tight to me.

Thank you Mr. Clarke. I can only dream of what you may have set in motion with your incredible vision. We can only hope! (And maybe do a little promoting as well).
