Video showing a Simoco SRM1000 NOT ex dolphin which has been re-aligned for an output of around 20 watts. These radios tend to be around the 3-5 watt mark when de-commissioned.
The antenna is not resonant (around 30Mhz out) so there is wasted, reflected power.

  • I am running a Hytera page on Facebook. If you are interested in Hytera digital radios, Mototrbo, Tetra, linking radios via the internet or just radios in general, please stop by and have a look!

I'm trying to get a group of people together to share ideas and resources.

There's some other pages but they're run by companies trying to make money.

Search "Hytera Digital Radio" On facebook.

  • I person can only afford pre programmed D700's! Either that or they prefer Pye westminster's.
