  • how good are the perception 400? does it meet all your recording requirements?

I've got it too, but haven't touched it yet for nearly 2 years now, because i don't know what amps or whatever, to get it sounding great. any help appreciated mate

  • @mystikalecho it is a fantastic mic for the price man... I use it mostly for vocals... I had a vox booth i made and the sound reproduction of the mic is quite accurate.. I have used if for acoustic guitar as well and get good mixes with it.. Barely need to eq..... I haven't used it on electric guitar but i am sure it would do the trick.. Just need to back if off a bit from the speaker since it's a condenser mic....

  • @DiztruktorMedia dude i should have like a million videos already.. I have no camera!! I am a full-time college student so i can't even afford one at the moment.. I will be getting one eventually and will be making some videos.. If you have any questions regarding recording or equipment feel free to ask..

  • @DiztruktorMedia i agree with you.. This setup is kind of old :) I recently bought a new desk that is a lot wider then this one. Thanks for the compliment :)

  • @leadmasterswift hey dude, if you are referring to intel 3rd generation yea that is fine.. To be honest all the imacs are capable of handling the software. Especially the new ones. Also if you plan on doing a lot of recording invest in a external hard-drive, so you can save your material without using computer space....

  • @leadmasterswift do you know if imac g5 with intel i 3 is good for nuedo?

  • @Gtrplyr1 do you know if imac g5 with intel i3 is good?

  • @leadmasterswift sure is man.. Now you can use a pc as well, they are just as good.. I mac is fine for recording.. Im using a fairly old one as you can see, and this guy holds up just fine. The new Imac has dual processors which means more power and capability of increased plugins(reverbs, delays) without slowing up or freezing up. Personally i like Mac better because I am a Logic fan, which is only capable on an Apple computer. Macs are compatible with Protools and everything else as well.

  • hey !i was wondering if imac g5 is cool for recording?

  • @NardoFree2 well right now i am using the D1200. My presonus Firepod needs repair. I have had the d1200 for sometime now but only know the basics of it :) It's a good piece of equipment.. Feel free to ask questions man. Thanks for stopping in

    Dan
