1- Where do you find all this reptile news?
I work about 7 days a week most weeks scouring the internet for reptile related news. I find hundreds of stories
per week from different places all over the world. The unfortunate part is I can only pick a few per day to talk
about because of the time it takes to produce the show but I do post a lot on the website that never makes it on
the show.

2- Why is your reptile news always doom and gloom?
I love happy news, we all do but the sad fact is our community has a lot of bad news going around right now and I
dont make the news, I just tell it so its not really me promoting doom and gloom, its more like just informing you
and promoting us as a community to ban together and change the future.

3- Do you actually think you are helping the reptile hobby?
Not only do I think I am but I know I am. I am a huge supporter and promoter of the reptile hobby as well as super
pro business. I spend every single day helping to promote a positive image of our hobby to the general public, what
have you done to promote our hobby today?

4- Will you promote my site, channel, business exc exc?
Yes I would love to do all of the above but I have a strict new rule that before I allow any promotion on DRN the
person must first prove that they are doing something to help our community.

I have been providing the daily reptile news for several years now. I started it with Foot Hill Reptiles in 11/2006.
When I sold FHR I started foothillherps.com and continued to provide the news on the forum. In January 2010 I started
providing it via you tube as well as the FHH forum. In February 2010 we went to high definition coverage of the
important daily news as it pertains to reptiles and amphibians. On March 15th, 2010 dailyreptilenews.com debuted as

@51supernova50 So the fact that they "Will no longer buy, sell or harm the snakes" is not good enough? Seems a little petty to want to destroy them completely when they just agreed to do exactly what we were asking them to do.

There's always some idiot hording animals of some kind. My town had an issue with people hording cats so the city decided to force a limit on how many cats a person could own and each cat required a license that has to be renewed annually. A law like this should be added to protect snakes.

@Snapscape I am not 100% sure if I would agree to any laws for limiting numbers, I mean laws are what is destroying our community right now. I think more people just need to practice common sense.

I'll jump in on this one. Ultimately, if these things continue this is the way they should be conducted. Depleting the wild populations and ending the cruelty is a great place to begin! =)

@51supernova50 2) the snake ban has in no way shape or form helped keep snakes out of the everglades and stopped consumpion of valuble wildlife it will indeed prompt more people to release theres..... it is about money rather than the wildlife. by banning those 4 species they will make appaling amounts of money

@51supernova50 i have a couple of things to share with you that if you had any intellect would change your mind of exterminating snakes. 1) rattle snakes and snakes period are extreamly important in the rodent controll of the united states without them the ammount of vermin would increase perpostourousely and deseases like AIDS would be a national crisis to usa,canada and south america.

@reptile411 I'd rather have a limit imposed than have the animal banned from ownership because of some morons who lack the ability to exercise common sense or restraint. Besides, their owners might appreciate them more when they can't collect 500.
