Good post, as this can be tough but this snow is still fairly soft -- harder when dealing w/ ice axe and crampons as well.

Good to see Mike hattrup. He was one of my mogul skiing heros growing up. One of the best one liners from the Blizzard of Ahhhs. was Mike, reading a powder magazine artical about mogul skiing written by ......" Head waxer from Bear Valley Nordic center, what the F*ck does he know about skiing moguls?. Dammmm now I'm giong to have watch the Blizzard right NOW.
