these locos look very similar to the romanian diesel hydraulic ones, are they some kind of a franchise with CFR or dont have nothing to do with it?

These locos were purchased by MÁV Hungarian State Railways from FAUR in Romania 30+ years ago, now only a couple remain in the original condition. But many have been rebuilt with more rectangular frames. Thus, the similarity is not by chance at all, however they have nothing to do with CFR.
