I get it, they are certainly not the Smashing Pumpkins, but doesn't better music come from influence from awesome music. So Panic is covering a song in appreciation. It's not like they went into the studio and made it a bonus track on an album. Relax and enjoy just one interpretation of a classic song without being a total butthead.
