@firstborn1988gorsaga Original story plans of the Enterprise A was to be another cloud of stardust like what happened to the last Enterprise in Star Trek 3. The renegade Klingons supposedly blows the saucerhead off and Capt Kirk escapes before Chang finises them off whilt Excellsior saves the day destroying the Bird Of Prey shortly after it finished off the Enterprise. Somehow by fans and popular demand obviously did not wanna see Enterprise destroyed again so they gave it the ending it has now.
