Soldiers of 1 ROYAL ANGLIAN have close call after being Strafed by a USAF A10, Afghanistan 2007

THIS was the terrifying moment when an American pilot strafed a field full of British troops nearly causing a Blue on Blue incident

The soldiers, from the 1st Battalion, the Royal Anglian Regt, ran for cover when they realised the US A10 Tankbuster jet was shooting at them.

Mixed feelings here, firstly why do we blame the pilots, it's all to do with their lack of communication that gets our men killed. However despite us having a fair amount of support and excellent communication skills with our pilots we simply do not have enough of them so we should all be grateful for one another, we are brothers and accidents do happen. However carelessness
