Haven vs Lady Vashj (World of Warcraft)

At long LONG last we finally downed her! This video is actually a recording of our second kill. Either way, it just feels SO good to get 'er done!

Notes:

-I was assigned pillar duty this fight, which meant I couldn't stray too far to heal folks.

-During phase 3 the warlocks would DoT the crap out of the first incoming bats before focusing on Vashj. This helps tremedously in easing the pressure as everyone sets in for that final stretch.

-You'll note that the pillar I was assigned to was the final pillar to go down. Because of this, I didn't disable it immediately when I received the Tainted Core. It's best to wait until the current set of mob spawns are well taken care of, not to mention have the MT in place before setting Vashj loose on the raid again.

-If you have phase 2 mastered, then you've pretty much mastered the fight. Maintaining the calm amongst the chaos is key!

-We used an elemental shaman to kite the striders, backed up by warlocks.

-Nature protection pots can help ease the burden on healers, especially on phase 3!

-Stay outta the green crap during phase 3. ;P
