Album: Host (1999)
In all honesty

Sit alone and celebrate good times of change
Sit alone anticipate great times of change
But their all washed away with laughter
As we wait to perish, turn to ashes
Things we've all gone through....
Sit alone and celebrate good times of change
Sit alone annihilate all words of praise
When it all seems to spell disaster...
Words of wisdom have no meaning
In all honesty
Its just fiction, your religion
No apology
There's no concealing the things that I do
There's no concealing the things that I choose
Sit alone and celebrate good times of change
Sit alone anticipate great times of change
But their all washed away with laughter
Words of wisdom have no meaning
In all honesty
Your religions contradiction
But you cannot see
Words of wisdom add frustration
To our agony
Constant knowing, always showing
Endless sympathy...

  • @MetalFalloutTV Many bands experiment and try different sounds. What makes Paradise Lost better is that every time they change their sound, they are interesting to say the least.

  • I agree with the previous statement that this is the best song on Host. This album has grown on me over the years and I am glad they made it. The best thing about Paradise Lost is that they try new things and every album sounds different.

  • reminiscent of Ulver's William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell or whatever it's called

  • @Laudanum000 me too!

  • It's just fiction.. your religion

  • depechemetal !

  • @XINDIOS Or you can simply download it with torrent, search for the album and then select only this song for download if you wish...

  • Super awesome.

  • I call this a GOTHIC, not all the female craps of nowadays.

  • What an underrated song from an underrated band. This album blew my mind when I borrowed it from the local library in the fall of 2001. Such an excellent emotion and mood and good melodies on Host. Long live PL! This song deserves at least 2 million views!
