it was never the same after that playoff run that playoff run made the entire city of Calgary cheering for the flames there wer huge parties goin on heck the whole nation was probably cheering 4 calgary at the time even the oilers that run united a whole city maybe even a whole nation

@alucardXX2009:So far 2004 was the only close chance they had of going to the final round except Calgary got revenge for their 95 lost.

@Corncrops:Sharks were robbed from entering the final to face Tampa, just like Toronto kept us from entering round 3 against Vancouver from 10 years before that.

@alucardXX2009:Just like we should've done 10 years earlier against Toronto. If we had won game 6 against the Maple Leafs we wouldn't have lost game 7 and we'd could've entered round 3 against Vancouver. The Sharks beat Calgary 9 years earlier before they got shutout by the Redwings 4 games straight. Then 6 years later the Blackhawks also shut us out 4 games to 0 in round 3 just like the Redwings 15 years earlier in round 2. A year later Vancouver took us out 4 games to 1.
