This is the album version of "Atoms For Peace", from the album "The Eraser", which is Thom Yorke's first solo album.

No more going to the dark side with your flying saucer eyes
No more falling down a wormhole that I have to pull you out

The wriggling, squiggling worm inside
Devours from the inside out

No more talk about the old days
It's time for something great

I want you to get out
And make it work

So many lies
So many lies
So many lies
So feel the love come off of them
And take me in your arms

Peel all of your layers off
I want to eat your artichoke heart

No more leaky holes in your brain
And no false starts

I wanna get out
And make it work

So many lies
So many lies
So many lies
So feel the love come off of them
And take me in your arms

I wanna get out
And make it work

I want you to get out
And make it work

I'll be ok

So many lies
So many lies
So many lies
So feel the love come off of them
And take me in your arms

  • @Juni44ever Correction -- it was first the name of a track, then it became both the name of the track and the band, THEN it became Thom Yorke's actual legal given, middle, and surname. Then he named the planet, solar system, galaxy, universe, and all infinite multiverses this title. All things humanly comprehensible are now this song. I am now this song and you are listening to me, and I to you.

  • "Peel all the layers off. I want to eat your artichoke heart." That might be the most perfect lyric I've ever heard.

  • anyone else think of Megaton from Fallout 3 when they read the title?

  • the title is perfect!thats the way i feel this song!love it! again thom reinventhimself so gracefully and thanks to share your soul whit us!love!

  • I think this song exemplifies Thom's lyrical brilliance.

  • @dantebassz so many allies

  • Advert for the only way is essex before it?? Vomited a little bit in my mouth.

  • God doesn't exist, but Thom Yorke does ....

  • The first time I heard this song I was cold and I (thought I) was in love with someone. Isn't it weird how when you leave a song alone for a while you can return and feel the memory of the first time you heard it? I just wish I could remember who I thought I loved though...

  • "So many lies" or "So many allies"?

  • if you were ever doubtful that electronic music couldn't have soul....
