No, Hakkar himself doesn't make an appearance, but his blood curse does -- quite an appearance. Despite its 3 second duration, a group of pranksters (most likely) managed to bring this debuff to Orgrimmar on Blackrock where it spread like wildfire and killed

I remember this glitch back in the days. It was in such an epic scale that an university had made a request to Blizzard to study the data. The university wanted to know how ordinary people would react to a global plaque. And the university wanted to know how diseases could spread out and how fast. So, everything weren't really planned. And people would get the diseases simultaneously.

I told my mom about this (who is oblivious to WoW) a day prior to it being on the news. She's just like "That's nice" or w/e and disregards it as usual. Then it went on the news.
