Actually, in some I've heard "Fake it if you can't get an erection". I love hearing him change up the words. It's really funny when you know each song lyric for lyric like I do so it's a surprise :P
I may be going to see them in Mississippi in September. So what if I've seen them twice already. They never get old!

This is probably their best performance of Fake It to date, all that's missing is that part where he sings "you look so unconceivable", I really love that part, put that in this and you have the perfect version of Fake It.

I just went to a show in Duluth to see these guys, and I have to ask something, because I'm sure I keep hearing it.
Is Shaun saying, "Fake it, if you feel that erection?" on occasion? Because I could have sworn I heard him change those lyrics at the Duluth show.
Maybe my mind's just in the gutter.

No, no, you're correct. Shaun has said "Fake it if you have an erection" quite a few times. He likes to change up the lyrics to alot of songs because, well, why the hell not! They're his songs!
If you havent noticed he adds "take your skinny diet pill" to "Remedy" quite a bit. Shaun also adds "fuck me up" in place of "cut me up" to "Burrito". He does that to many other songs. But yes, he is saying "erection". Why not add some humor?
