its sounding like you guys are from chattanooga? im on signal mountain and i have a 14ft lonestar v-hull with a 6hp johnson that i am working on. i rebuilt the carburator too but i cant get it tuned :( ya'll should help me out! haha

i need advice on polishing the aluminum like you did. my boat had been painted like three times. i finally got all the paint off.. now i'm ready to make it shine. do you use a buffer?

@paperchase213 I would definitely recommend using a buffer..we did it all by hand and it took quite a while to break through all those years of nasty buildup. It'll take a few coats to get it to that nice mirror shine, so be ready to put some time into it!
