Vernon Florida Pee-Wee football league plays during their homecoming game and one of the smallest on the team, Tyler, playing defense goes head first and wide open into another player and succeeds in stopping the play. He tackled the other player so hard that he bit his mouthpiece in half and one of his front teeth went thru the inside of his lip. He was taken to the local hospital where they used super glue to "stitch him up." He insisted on going back by the ballfield after he left the hospital just to let his coach know he was alright and ready to play again. Tyler was never afraid on the field again.
