Is this bike heavy? Im a 19 year old, not very built and never had a bike big other than a 125. I will be buying one of these 1990 versions but I need to know if they are heavy or hard to handle.

@SkulledRobe its a very light bike, I'm 20 and weigh 115 and i also ride a 800 lb harley which isn't hard to handle. hope that helps.

I do have a open ? Does anybody know the amount of oil to refill this bike, been told 3.2 Qt's & 4.2 Qt's with a new filter ? Thank's, yl

I have an 04 model, and at 5.10" it's real good to ride. Get from 55 to 66 MPG. Mine has the windshield too. That helps a lot when going over 60 MPH, also helps keep the bugs out of your face, It will keep up with the other cruisers in the mountains easy enough. You would want to stay away from the rocks & sand on curves, when using the front brake, It wan't to slide. It's rides smooth on the Hwy, but wanders at slow speed like 5 mph. It's the extended forks to thank for that. All said it's VG !

@nobonogaoda I consider a 250 a starter bike, but not this 500. The seat level would be low on both of these bikes for you and foot rests would be too close, but you could do it. I,m 5'8 and everything is perfect for me on the 500. If I were as tall as you, I would get a dual sport bike like KLR 650 with a 35" seat ht. All the cruisers have low seats and I see plenty of tall people riding them though. The low weight is important to me so I can easily walk it into my garage.
