How Veda feels about the Gentle Leader

I put the Gentle Leader on Veda and this is what she has to say! no thanks! LOL

I personally dont like the Gentle leader. I am a dog trainer and I find there are much better ways to get a dog to walk nicely on a leash. The gentle leader is simply avoiding the issue and when you put them back on a normal collar they pull again. doesnt teach them anything.

I have used the gentle leader, I think it works great. Better than choking you dog to death with choke chains and prong collars.

@xsweetestxmisery Thats not true i taught my dog with the gentle leader and he will walk just fine on a normal collar.

@xsweetestxmisery then how can you get your dog not to pull you side ways then? cause thats what my dog kept doing so i got the gentile leader and she doesnt pull me but doesnt like it on her i'll try to get it on but she turns her head so i wont be able to get it on so i have to hold her head so i can get it on her so let me know if you got any answer for me .

My dog has no problem with the gentle leader. You obviously have it on wrong or you never tought them how to have fun with it on. You shouldn't encourage bad behavior like that when they have it on. (Bad behavior as in yawning, barking, rubbing, pawing, etc.)

I saw a dog get his paw under the nose strap and tore all the ligaments in his wrist, I don't like them either....

I'd say "no thanks" too, Veda! There are MUCH better ways to teach a dog to walk on a leash than twisting it's neck around or tugging on it's nose.

I put the gentle leader on Cash and he hit the floor and tried desperately to peel it off his face.. He has to have it, he's 70 lbs and doesnt walk well on a leash yet
