So does this mean I can put GPS tracking devices on anyones car since they're in public domain?
-
This is an old video.
The U.S Supreme court ruled a few weeks ago that law enforcement must obtain a warrant in order to use GPS tracking devices.

If I discovered one of those attached to my car, gawd would I have fun with that. First stop would be the Police Chief's house after he had left for work to make him believe I was having an affair with his wife...

If they can enslave you to the State (tax on your body and its labor) the SLIPPERY SLOPE, than they can do ANYTHING they want.
Libtards will be Libtards.

To be honest, I'm not hugely shocked about this, but that might be because I live in a country where cops have always (I think) been allowed to do warrantless home searches and all that stuff... so I'm used to the idea that the police just have a lot of freedoms...

where are you from?

Good news everyone- as of this morning the Supreme Court in US v. Jones has said that this sort of thing IS a search and without a warrant is unconstitutional.

This is brilliant! So I can obtain the scent gland of a mink and stick it inside a hot car if it's parked outside a mall. Hey it's out in public...
I wonder what will happen if you find the device and destroy it. You'll probably get charged for destruction of government property and detained indefinitely as a terrorist.
