Here is a video of my Thanksgiving Turkey cooked on a Traeger wood pellet grill. I spatched cocked the turkey. I cut his backbone so it can lay flat

  • i have the treager junior, i got for 400 dollars from the hardware store. im just starting to cook some stuff...so far smoke is under 200 degrees....i am disappointment in that.....but we'll see.

  • Get you one of the newest digital thermostat that has a smoke and a 225 degree setting. 225 I use all the time. Sometimes in the winter the smoke setting will only get up to around 150. You will love it.

  • I cut the back out of my turkey as well (I use a pruning saw)

and brine them. I love my Traeger! I have the big tex.100 (I think it's called) I load it up and freeze so all we have to do is pop it out of the freezer and add a salad and a vegetable. Can't beat the flavor! Even when frozen chicken's taste as good as they did straight off the grill! I'd recommend the big one if you have a freezer!

  • I sell them at work. We did a wine festival in my hometown and I cooked 325 pounds of wings on 2 -075 and a pink pig. People just flipped out over the wings. They are really good. All you do is cover the wings in Bad Byrons' Butt Rub and cook them on the Traeger. Smoke them for 30 minutes at the end and Dang!!! Very GOOD!!!

  • What model is that?

  • This is a lil' tex BBQ 070. It has the digital thermostat installed.

    Thanks,

    Gray

  • Awesome smoker grill traeger and Country smoker pellet feeders are the best

  • Looks awesome. I'm considering buying the same grill, and hear nothing but good things about it.
