MADONNA, LADY GAGA: SHE'S NOT ME (THE "COMPARISON" VIDEO)

Playing the devil's advocate here with a fun video of Lady Gaga and Madonna comparisons. I like Lady Gaga, have even seen her in concert, so don't get me wrong here. I made this for fun to show that "originality" is tough these days, especially when Madonna is the queen of pop and has done it all. So, whether it be coincidence, inspiration, or copying is for you to decide, and that's why I made this- to pose that very question and see where everyone stands :). I know a lot of these clips are different in many respects, and I'm NOT saying Gaga intentionally copied every single thing. Many inspirations Madonna and Gaga did pull from other artists and places, but it's still amusing to see and I have fun making videos and just want to see where people stand on this :). Again, PLEASE NOTE: i am NOT necessarily saying Gaga is copying Madonna, I'm just presenting the similarities I found and leaving it for the viewers to discuss, so feel free to attack me rather than coming up with something constructive if that's all you got. I'm tough so give me your worst lol ;). With that: Enjoy! :)

I've yet to see you cite any of gaga's accomplishments other than Billboard's or TMS's numbers. Has she done anything substantial in the world of pop music, dance, or performance art. Anything groundbreaking at all?

It's just that I have yet to notice any contributions to the pop music world from gaga as of yet apart from her popularity. Maybe you could do me and the M fanbase a favor and explain why she is deserving of the "legend" title.

Madonna paved the road... Lady Gaga is just driving on it. When Lady Gaga's been a pop Icon for 30+ years, THEN and only then can we talk about who did it better.

In sum, these are ways in which Gaga has copied Madonna: sitting in a car, walking, flipping hair, using a radio, touching a wall, sleeping, associating with Italians, using black and white effects, putting her hands in front of her face, and wearing a hat. A+ arguments.

Lady Gaga is now the most deleted artist on Last.fm, and is one of three of the most hated artists in the US. Her online popularity is now as low as it was in 2008. There was no "hip" surgery- Live Nation pulled the plug on her tour due to LOW TICKET SALES. I know, my friends saw it, and it was half empty. Poor thing.

Madonna hasn't had a tour in a long time? What fucking planet do you live on? Madonna tours every 3 or 4 years- has since the 80's. And I'll tell you what is dumb- Gaga's fanbase who thinks she was the first to put gay dancers and religious imagery in a music video.
