Wow, you are the conductor for the Taipei National Orchestra? That is amazing, it must have been a thrill to work with such an outstanding group of performers, both on stage an it the musical pit. I envy you; I wish I could perform in an Ensemble as prestigious as the Taipei National Orchestra.

Well, I was the guest conductor of the Taipei National for that world premiere, as well as for the revival a couple of years later at the Marseille opera. Yes, it was a fine group onstage & in the pit to work with. The director for the staging was Gao himself, but not for the lights and costumes. The scenery incorporates projections of some of his own drawings.

Oh my I can't believe I actually found a video of one of Gao's plays!! :D If you have anymore please post them!!

Well, I do have the whole opera - I was the conductor of the show - but it takes me a helluva lot of time to transfer it from system to system. A little patience...
