Video of my Mosin Nagant carbine collection. I currently have 5. 1 1953 Hungarian M44, 1 1955 Romanian M44, 1 1946 Russian M44 Izhevsk, 1 Russian 91/59 1934 Tula hex receiver carbine, 1 M38 Izhevsk 1943 carbine. Kinda tried to do a brief overview on all of them, and pertinent differences between them. If anyone has any requests, comments or suggestions, please post them and I'll see what I can do to accommodate. Hit the subscribe button too for more MN vids to come on the 91/30 rifles, and Finn Mosin Nagants, as well as any requests or suggestions.

  • hi!just want to ask can you put scope on your m44,m59?

  • @awesomeNepic You might be more specific of your "m59" nomenclature. If you mean the 91/59, then yes, you can. You can put a scope on any of them, but the methods are different. The rear sight base on the 91/59 can be removed, the existing dovetail grooves can be used with narrow scope mounts. I wouldn't recommend a cheap mount to replace the rear sight leaf on the M44, it most likely won't hold a zero.

  • Nice collection dude!! I just started with two Mosin Nagant 9130's. I haven't figured out which nationality they are yet, but the first one I bought was built in 1943. I have another on lay-a-way and my local Dunham's store. Its laminate and cost about $50 more than I paid for the first one.

  • @MrKZizzle I'd say your first 1943 is an Izhevsk. They made better than 4 million of them that year alone. Odds are pretty favorable there. Congrats man, it's a disease. There will be more. Many more. Don't ask me how I know either :D

  • how rare is the `53 hungarian m44?

and how much would somthing like that cost today?

  • @aaronzack14 Might try perusing some gun auction websites and view past auction results. That way you can view some that have been completed with buyers and what they paid for one.

  • @MarshalZhukov i bought my Mosin M38 for 75$ from a buddy. bore is extremely good and has strong rifling.

  • Great video thank you

  • Nice collection. Especially like that hex reciever 91/59. I have a round reciever 91/59, Izhevsk 1943, and a Tula M44 1944. I like the music in the background too. Looking for a Polish M44 made in the 1950's, but that is my dream Carbine.

  • @aaronzack14 They aren't that "rare" but were only produced for 2 years. If you get one in good shape, $200-$250 might be a decent price, matching of course with a like new bore, bluing, parts etc. A lot of them were refurbed, so a refurb one, depending on condition, really bad to good condition, minimal stock dings, damage, good bore, in tact bluing, $100-$200. It's hard to gauge price, as ultimately it's what someone will pay.
