Hedgehog's Dilemma

This is a song from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's name was inspired when the characters try to be closer to others, and they become more depressed when they become closer and something bad happens to them. For those who don't know what is Hedgehog's Dilemma, here's something from Wikipedia.
The hedgehog's dilemma states that the closer two beings come to each other, the more likely they are to hurt one another; however if they remain apart, they will each feel the pain of loneliness. This comes from the (false) idea that hedgehogs, with sharp spines on their backs, will hurt each other if they get too close. This is analogous to a relationship between two human beings. If two people come to care about and trust each other, something bad that happens to one of them will hurt the other as well, and dishonesty between the two could cause even greater problems.

The 'Hedgehog's Dilemma' is a common theme in the series, as the main characters encounter this often as they try to self-improve.

The opening theme of Red vs Blue is the property of Rooster Tooth.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the property of Gainax.

@TheFreestyler999 No dumbass, hedgehogs dillema refers to how when the hedgehogs are cold in winter they try to get close to each other to warm up but end up hurting the other with thier spike. Therefor, shinji was in a 'hedgehogs dillema because he was too scared to get close to anyone at the risk of hurting or being hurt. Fuck, be a fan.
