Reaper Render solves the day to day problems faced by studios in the animation industry.
In animation, rendering is the process of converting a scene description created by artists into a sequence of pictures, or frames, which can be viewed as video. Currently, animation studios buy and maintain clusters of computers and the artists in the animation studios send their scene description to a queue on the farm where rendering software renders the frames.

However, the existing render farm model is not a cost effective option for animation studios because in quiet times capacity that the studio is paying for may be idle and in busy times there may not be enough capacity leading to long queues, delays and missed deadlines.
Reaper is the comprehensive render farm management tool for animation studios. It allows animation studios around the world to match demand with supply, to streamline and increase productivity, and to mitigate the risk of missing deadlines. Studios can also take on larger projects knowing the capacity is available when needed.
