No Mercy is the first campaign in Left 4 Dead, spanning five chapters. Picking up right where the game's intro cinematic ends off, the Survivors are told by a passing helicopter to get to Mercy Hospital to be evacuated. On their trek to the hospital they must endure Infected-filled apartment buildings, city streets, subway tunnels, and sewers, until they finally reach the roof of the hospital itself to be rescued by helicopter.

i'd agree. But one thing, is the game one whole story or is it just made up of scenarios?

There are 4 scenarios. The story is to get all 4 people out of town alive. No real story here just fun game play. My videos are from scenario 1 called "No Mercy".

You should play with friends or strangers online and use mics. Otherwise you're not getting the full joy out of this game.
