Over the weekend the Occupy movement has been recharged. From the hundreds arrested in Oakland during "move in day," to the Occupy DC no camping regulations being any minute from enforcement. It is evident that law enforcement is making it tougher to practice the First Amendment, but with every crackdown it seems more protesters show up. The movement has been resilient despite the mainstream media attacks, and Derek McGee, an Iraq war veteran and OWS protester, joins us to show that they are not just a bunch of dirty hippies.

  • Even if these alledged behaviors were true, the Republican Politicians (as well as the Dems) are in the Cayman Islands doing all these things legally LOL!

  • He makes a good point that the mindset of a cop is like a football player - just trained resposne without time to think "is the other side doing the right thing?"

  • Melvin makes a good point and this small government "Tea Party" movement is all about turning the people like they do in the media in Melvin belows point to stop regulations from the government so that the coorperations are unregulated aswell as the banks and citizens are just livestock paying slave taxes as they(the 1%) get tax breaks and keep evading them and be more corrupt and keep the money where it already is and control the masses which they are trying to reduce by any means necessary.

  • America has Corporately Funded, State TV 2 divide this country. Policy since 9/11 to the present is shaping the US toward a Dictatorship. Look at our policies & compare them 2 laws and acts that were in place in order 4 a dictatorship to take place in other places. RE: Wall Street, Bucket shops were illegal from 1907 or 1908 until 2000. Those are side bets placed without any skin in the game. Downsize Banks. Our politicians are privy 2 insider trading info. Peace, Solidarity, & Support Everyone!
