Wushu is real - I train in it, and the people in this movie are actually legit :)

Hollywood marketing (white majority) > logic + ethnicity + morality + orginality

90 percent of the time, any American film that involves asian culture will have a white lead or a white/asian lead (who doesn't look asian enough to pass for an asian). It's weird, but hollywood producers and directors think American majority (white) can't appreciate any other color, their casting choices imply such.Sad but true.

Well, I am sorry to say this but this guy looks ridicules as a Wushu warrior lol. He should be playing in Highschool Musical or something lol. Leave the Wushu scene for Asian people, it's their own and comes naturally to them. If you do martial arts just be American and don't wear Chinese close and light incense in front of the Buddha cause it looks ridicules. The only one who could pull it off was David Carradine G-d rest his soul. And he actually looked Asian so leave this honor to him.

@AxisOfEternity its because they get confused that theres a world outside of america

@Kretek They have to make the main character American so they can reach the American market.
For some reason American's can't relate to a character unless they are American. No joke. There's statistical evidence to support this.
