  • thank god some where in the world they are still making good original movies and not shyte remakes or comic book movies or sequels or prequels.... or the dreaded remake of sequel comic book movie prequel re-release on bluray with bonus added cgi features of Han shooting 1st.

  • I thought that was well tribute'd', though they should have made it longer and put more detail into it. The ending was quite interesting, I like the way it had time though for Rivers gentle touch to come through especially with Prior. Sarah could have been more defined, in the book she is disgusted and angry with the fact the wounded men are shut away- I think she could have tried to be more of a stronger character. Loved the head butting bit and the so natural stammers of Rivers- so well done.

  • Thanks for the up; I read the novel back in 2004 and this hard-to-find adaptation has been on my list ever since.

War is not defense, and no geopolitical entity is worth the life of an ant, let alone a human being.

  • One of my favourite films. Wonderful. would love someone to film a follow up like 'Eye in the Door' or 'Ghost Road'.

  • Thank you very much.

  • I cried.

  • so sad!

  • Thank you for uploading.

  • this movie was an interesting point of view of the war, quite unique in my opinion. I was a bit disappointed how little Owen had appeared, i thought the movie was going to be more about him. The poem was called the parable of the old man and the young, it was a very beautiful ending :)
