The Judiciary Committee holds a hearing, "Warrantless Surveillance and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act: The Role of Checks and Balances in Protecting Americans' Privacy Rights (Part II)." Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell and Assistant Attorney General for National Security Kenneth Wainstein are witnesses. Here Chairman John Conyers questions McConnell on how many Americans have had their calls listened in on.

What a fancy dancer...speaking truth to power, bah. McConnell uses the same old tactics...talk them to death and don't answer the question. I love Rep. Conyers but wish he had asked a more pointed question and bulldogged McConnell in reply. How many Americans' phone calls have been listened to and recorded? To answer this question truthfully, it shouldn't matter if the call was tapped because it originated from another country. A tap's a tap.

that coup has fallen to the way side due to unforeseen incidents & elements (Katrina & the people Awakening to the facts EN-MASS). The coup will be left up to the next administration to pull off. Considering I do not rely on the military and in fact move away from directions they heard people in? I really do not care if they do not help me. Don't Want It! Never Needed It!! And would most likely stick a blade in the belly or back of any that tried to give it!!!
