behind my backyard there is a swamp/ power plant, i head back there and i here those guys from late jan to mid april sometimes may . nice vid

These calls are beautiful to me. But does anyone know what type of frog or water creature calls are like an ascending, lower pitch that lasts for about 4-5 seconds?
I loved those the most! They sang more on rainy nights!

Beautiful. I live in alberta and have caught lots of these little dudes. It's a real treat to find one on your front lawn & hear them so close at night.
