  • Is that a Surgeon XL action hiding in there?

  • Good eyes @no0such0luck! That is a modified Surgeon 1581 (XL-II) set up for interchangeable monolithic rails and 10rd box magazine. Keep a watchful eye out for our new SXL-A1 which is a SABER chassis with a 3.9" ID magazine. This was developed for reloaders shooting high BC banded and monolithic solid bullets in .338LM cal.

Be sure to stop by our new website, AshburyPrecisionOrdnance-dot-com, and thanks for watching!

  • i heard this is over 10k? that seams very unreasonable to me

  • @AndrewRay14 Thanks for your question. While I'm sure you could purchase enough accessories to push the price that high our rifle chassis and complete rifle systems are very affordable. Stop by our newly designed website to check them out or to contact us directly!

  • @Xoblaimtxiag *hasnt shot a gun*

  • @Xoblaimtxiag Not to be rude, but if you ever get a chance to get behind that type of precision weapon system you would understand why they manipulate the controls the way the way they do. The people in this video are formally trained military snipers. One of them owns the website "snipers hide" and is a former Marine Corps 8541 Scout Sniper. Believe me when I tell you these shooters know what they are doing.

  • @Xoblaimtxiag first actually shoot a gun

  • @Xoblaimtxiag Just their style of shooting mate. Guys who compete in tactical/practical comps don't sit on a bench at a nice square range chatting to their ol' cobber leisurely putting rounds down range, and manipulating their bolts like it was made of gold. These guys run their weapons hard and fast, in an arena where a faster shot on target is the difference between saving a life or not.

Just a different modus operandi mate, leave the slow and deliberate to BR shooters.

  • @Xoblaimtxiag I wouldn't call any of the guys from Sniper's Hide idiots. While my shooting resume is nonexistent compared to theirs, even I know you need to deliberately pull the bolt back in order to guarantee case ejection, especially with push feed actions.
