Forza 3: Drag Race, AI opponent crash

Drag race against the game's AI opponent. I was in the left hand lane, in the yellow Porsche. I got to the finishing line aerial shot and was waiting for the other car to appear - it didn't! It wasn't until I checked out the replay I found out why!

This is the view of the AI player's car. As you can see, he spun out and then spent the rest of the game going back and forth, hitting the wall. The replay stops as I crossed the finishing line.

Edit: This doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. There's at least one more video on YouTube of the AI going snafu like this.
