I am pleased with the image quality and the motion capturing, for home videos its awesome and for professional video i wouldnt recommend it, even though i used it to shoot a wedding( as a second camcorder), it does well at darker scenes, a bit grainy but pretty nice night results. Also u can do alot of cool stuff with the manual focus which isnt to hard to master, but a bit slow, but at this price what could you expect.:P

Overall its a great digital camera but for videos i recommend Panasonic's cheap HD CMOS camera's.

*Note: Its single CCD system can bring awesome colors into the video, and even though the focus is far from perfect it can bring very sharp image's using a tripod or something for stabilization.

@cd4600 pai seara cand filmezi e cam granulata daca ma intelegi, dar ziua filmeaza excelent si are si un sunet foarte bun. Iar fotografiile sunt si ele foarte bune daca te pricepi la setari.

@Vkviruskiller You can't see them in the Camera itself? well then maybe the SD card has been damaged, or its a technical error.

Image stabilization on this is godly amongst point and shoot cameras.
