I love the scene in the movie! It's a beautiful prayer, not to unlike the one I pray for my children.

I think I'm going to ask to sing the grace at my family's Thanksgiving meal this year. This is what I plan to use.

Several members of the extended family are fairly religious. I am not, but my music is my worship. I feel that this is a compromise that is both respectful and touching.

sorry for the spaz on that guy wasnt even mad lol, but actually religious establishments and even those who were "the Church" ordered the torture and deaths of many the spanish inquisition, the salem witch trials, the crusades, probably a load more i should know about, yes it was certain people but all the thoughts of common decency towards others goes out the window and you got a blood bath like in Nigeria and the sudan, Muslim vs Christians round ???

I agree that many atrocities have been committed in the name of religion. However, I think it's important to clarify that no religion, generally speaking, encourages it's followers to do evil. It is PEOPLE who take religious writings, twist them and use them to do evil. The institution of religion is not bad, in and of itself. Any object, idea, institution, etc. can be used for good or for evil. For example, a hammer can be used to build a house or as a weapon.

do u know what a primary source is dipshit? they are letters, articles and recordings by people who lived at that time ok my prof has no control over written pieces that are hundreds of years old . Why are you so stupid?

yes she could be wrong but i doubt it when what she says coincides with primary source documents and other reliable sources with which historians look to provide insight into the mindset of that time period so you've not said anything credible these past comments at all so just stop seriously your just bad at this good day sir
