I have seen debate between official representatives of the two nations at a seminar in Pittsburgh. I was more impressed with the Israeli guy. He freely acknowledged that neither side was blameless.

Palestinians have been killed because they choose to fight for land with their lives, not because Israel slaughters them ruthlessly. The Palestinians fight with rocket launchers, and suicide bombers, and then they wonder why they get fired back upon.

Israel didn't start the bloodshed with the Palestinians, and the whole mess is complicated, but don't favor one side over the other so haphazardly. There are things that Israel has done that I would explain as ethnic cleansing. Both have wrong ways

Their land was taken from them, and they are treated like third class citizens in their own homes. The situation is Israel is like apartheid South Africa... or that other great evil, which I shall refrain from mentioning.

People deserve to be happy; Palestine will exist (officially) again, it will have a capital in East Jerusalem and Israel will be humble, because that is the RIGHT thing to do, and the only way towards peace.
