So you think you can rap? [my entry]

This is my entry to Prince Ea's "So you think you can rap?" contest.. The most "liked" videos will make it into the finals to be judged. Let's see how it goes :S


these backwards rappers are hazards to my master plan
they think that swagga just means blastin out the back of black sedans
chatterin faster than this whack cracker probably ever can
but can these slackers capture that that matters rather than
scattering whack raps on tracks to climb the ladder than
hanging from the rafters while i raise em like a thatcher can
I dont come packin but got food for thought on platters and
its lathered in and slathered in the thoughts that i have gathered and

I know that the pigment of my skin is different
and distant from most but i feel in a minute
ill take all the criticism on the chin and begin
spitting rhymes that are lyrical gems

The fact that I can rap without this knack of blathering
has got to count for something other than the laughs that ive been gathering
i see these artists spitting while i flow so hard they lather in it
and hear these claims that they're the bomb well im a sapper and

i came today not for the record sales or label deals
not for fancy wheels or for the fame or to get sex appeal
not for all the clothes or for the way that the attention feels
but to reveal a new idea that has been concealed

beneath the radio waves and all the mainstream
Beneath these cookie cutter artists with the same themes
of selling out to fit this thug life rap scene
down to the underground where talent and not fame screams

i got this lyrical supremacy not seen in a century
crazy flow lock it in a penitentiary
bank account about empty, no Emmys see but
all these artists see my smarts and so they envy me

Or is it that i stay committed each time that i spit it
to myself admit it, this ginger outwitted
most of the submitted pieces that were written and if im permitted


i'll go and spit a verse, unrehearsed, where i disperse
these mystical mythical critical lyrical a-typical miracle lines
combined with rhymes that shine designed to open up your minds

to a new kind of flow lined with a genius performance,
without the need to conform or over dramatic flamboyant annoyance
or try to contemplate, a way to overcompensate
the fact you cannot equate to someone who is half as great
its scary when i concentrate grab a pen and dominate
by spittin all these lines but now i did so go and nominate

me as a contestant for this rap competition by liking this video :)
