  • yes, i did learn it from a video. It took about 8 months to 1 year to learn the movements, and then about another 6 months to get the roughness out of it. Unforunately, i went without practicing for about a year or so, and then last year i finally started practicing again.

  • Thanks, personaly, i think the form in that video looks a bit stiff. I've been practicing quite a lot lately it is a bit better now. I still can't remember the last half of the 7th palm change, and the 8th palmchange.

  • Very well done.

I like that version very much. In fact I think I like it a bit better than our version.

    Nicely done.

  • YMAA? is the teacher a skinny small dude. wears big prayer bead as neckless ?

  • You in deed have a lot of smoothness in your movements. It seemed you mixed up a couple of palm changes in your form. I, too, have watched the ymaa instructional video as well. It took me two to three hours to get the form down ^ ^. I agree the 7th and 8th palm change is indeed a little difficult get down. It's best to get an actual instructor just for more understanding. Keep practicing!

  • stretch dude. Not bad from learning from a video, for sure, but just keep walking the circle, and in 10 years, it will be extremely fluid.

  • there is a lot here to like, especially if you've learned it all from a video ... well done! having said that, finding a good bagua school might be a wonderful thing! :)

  • Not bad. You should do more foot work and you could be more fluid with your moves. For the most part it was really good.

  • mmm think of your body as a receptical. add on substance and here you have change or yin yang. the next thing you complicate yourself with more life you become xing yi or wu xing. bring more change and now you have ba gua... when you draw your energy think of a round big ball... I hate to say this but what a bit of anime all though how bad that sounds you'll get a picture to what to do with your chi. your doing fine just pay attention to your forms soft features.

  • On She Ba Xing your leaning a bit towards the center as I understand your hand should be level with your shoulder, also your inside foot paths straight without turning ankle and outside foot hooks when circling. other than that great considering method of learning.

  • if you really learned that from a video it's pretty good, man.
