  • Knew some D-bags, who had a "pet" python...... one fine morning, while the couple was getting ready for work, cute wittle 9ft snake got out cage into crib & ate there new baby, off to prison they go....... snakes are cool huh? People need dangerous/ exotic pets like they need air-craft carrier. stupid is- stupid does

  • @LynxPointMama bite people without provocation while they are helplessly sleeping...But you didn't know anything about that did you? No of course not because your just some fucking ignorant kid who watched 2 nature shows about snakes on animal planet and now considers himself to be an expert....Go out into the real world ( not the sheltered place you live in) and gain some real life experience on the subjects that you open your mouth about or don't expect to be respected...period

  • @LynxPointMama And when you assume based on the EXACT words that come out of ones mouth compared to the REALITY of the situation...than it is perfectly all right to assume...In fact it is the preferable thing to do.

  • @yobro250 When you assume, you make an ass out of yourself. I've seen plenty of vipers, Cobras actually, and they only get pissy when you corner them. You fucking failed. And handling a poisonous snake is a good enough reason for it to bite you, because you are disturbing it. Imagine a giant came and handled you, wouldn't you be scared and try to defend yourself? Yes. Clearly, you are trying to be a smart ass.

  • @LynxPointMama No they aren't all "very shy creatures that only bite in self defence"....you've clearly never handled/seen a viper before...They can be very aggressive.

Elapids are more likely to retreat.

  • Makes me so mad idiots own dangerous animals then they get hurt and the animal has to die. It's sad these snakes have to die, they belong in the wild not in a cage. They were made to bite and kill that's what they do not be someone's pet.

  • there is know reason for anyone to own a venom es snake unless you are a licensed zoo

  • @LynxPointMama The plus to being moved in the cold is they'll go into hibernation, so that should reduce the stress on them--especially that cobra. I hope they all went to zoos with competent staff.

  • 1. Never devenom a snake. They need that venom to digest their prey.

    2. Respect the snake. Treat even venomoids as if they are still dangerous.

    3. Do not purchase a venomous snake unless you have been trained to handle them safely and care for them accordingly.

  • i see the cobra had its own telephone.the dumb ass should have never taken someones word that the snake was no longer venomous.
