PROAIM DSLR Cage and Mattebox review

I took the plunge and decieded to try out the PROAIM Matte box and their 6" DSLR cage. I was quite surprised at how fast the products got to me. It was obvious that english was their second language but they were very helpful in making sure I was getting correct product. They did forget to send me a part of my kit but all I had to do was get on Skype and chat with them and they sent it right away. The Products came with a bit of a oily film but other than that everything was ship shape. I think I mention it in the video that everything feels very sold but at the same time for the price it's about where the quality should be. I wouldn't want to put these products up against something like a ARRI Matte box or other high end piece of equipment but for 99% of DSLR work these products will treat you just fine.

Can you mount this dslr cage and the matte box on the PROAIM shoulder rig?

@awesomealvin1 I have not seen the PROAIM shoulder rig but I would think so. All it would take is a quick release plate on the bottom and then a sled on the shoulder mount to make it easy.

Was wondering, as I'm about to buy the same version. Do you think it would fit the t2i+battery grip, or would I need to buy the 9'' version, rather than the 6"? Are you still using yours?

If you got the 9" version so you could put the battery grip on say a 5d, would there be a height line up problem with the matte box? How would that adjust to the height of the camera?

Thanks for the review. i was thinking of getting on for my 5D mark II. Now I will definitely get one. The Proaim is a copy of the easom cage which cost 599.00 and it looks exactly the same.
