do you need spacers for otang stims?

@LongboardTN Bearing manufacturers recommend bearing spacers for longer wear and truer spin because the spacers help keep the bearings parallel. That being said, many skaters opt not to use them for whatever reason. I don't argue with the manufacturers and use them on every longboard set up I have and my bearings always seem to last for a very long time compared to my friends. I also clean them occasionally and put a couple drops of light synthetic oil or gel on them afterward.
