Love Connection - Barry Harrell on the Love Connection Two Episodes from 1985

OK, OK. Some of my friends have been bugging me to post this one - so here goes. This was me on the Love Connection TV show many years ago when I was called a "Horn Dog" on national TV. Mom must have been proud. This was filmed in1985. That date cost me $695.00. The show paid only $65.00.

It's worse then that - I never received the gifts they say contestants get. I didn't tell her because I was willing to pay for it. At the I had just sold a business and had plenty of money so it was OK. Plus, I wanted to be on the show so it was fine with me. I just did not expect her to do all of that. By the way, I was asked to be on the show by two women who work for it, I met them at the Hark Rock Cafe in Hollywood where I lived at the time.

Thanks Sean. Yea that was a blast and the chick was so hot in real life. It was amazing that everyone knew who I was on the street for the next two weeks. Even today, years later, some people say they remember the episode.

From the date till the filming was about 4 months and we were not allowed to talk during that time. I was dating a girl by the time we did the show (I did the show at my girlfriends urging) so we never went out. Plus, I couldn’t afford Teran – that date cost me $600 (the show only paid $65). Teran was a rich kid and had very expensive tastes.

i take it from the video description things didn't go anywhere with this girl? i'm always curious about that when the couple has a good date. but yeah, a bit of tmi there!! sheesh!
